I believe it was kiss that said " you wanted the best, you got the best " which applies to this saber in every way.
I went with none weathered as it's such an awesome clean design plus pixel set up with CFX powering the sound and effects.
Despite looking evil it's incredibly comfy to hold with a well balanced feel, nothing digs in or catches you.
It's loud and the heavy duty pixel blade is bright, exactly the same as standard it just adds a little weight to the hilt
CFX.... Oh boy i loved crystal shard 4.5 for its effects but this leaps above and beyond in every way.
It's easy to use, you can do sound level adjustments on the fly and the overall user experience is great.
You get great blade effects, loads of fonts with some nice hidden easter eggs.
Vaders Vault, American made, an incredible accurate rendition of Darth Revan's saber.
If you missed the run, get saving and add this to your collection when it's available!

In the past I normally acquire my sabers from NYCC in the past. The reason being is that I get to hold them before I buy them to make sure that I can weld them properly.

This was the first saber I did not actually hold prior to purchasing and I was worried that with its design it would not feel "right" in my hands. A friend who owned a previous run told me not to worry that I would have no issue with it. I will say that I was pleasantly surprised for even with the "sharp" looking spines and edges, it is smooth as silk when wielding it. I have not regretted this purchase and cannot recommend it enough to others.

I ordered this the day they announced it, and though the wait was long, I can say it was worth it, I'm absolutely blown away by the quality.
