Acolyte

I had my Acolyte customized with copper accents & some Jedi fonts. Awesome hilt! VV is the best in the biz. Period

My first VadersVault saber and the legend is true: very ergonomic, light, balanced and it does have the strongest beam in my collection of LSabers from other manufacturers.

I had very high hopes for the Acolyte and I can tell you, I most certainly was NOT disappointed. The weathering gives this thing a lot of character, I absolutely love it to pieces already and I've only had it for about an hour. My housemates are very jealous.

It did take quite a while between ordering it and receiving it, however considering the new boom in demand for custom sabers stemming from the new movies and games being released, as well as the fact that it is so well made, I frankly have no problem with the wait what so ever.

This was my first custom hilt and I'm so very glad I took the time to research and eventually choose VV to order from. I am one happy nerd right now.

Vader's Vault Acolyte is a true work of art. The design and detail are stunning. I ordered red suncrusher, orange light for the activation switch, and medium weathering except for shroud which is heavy weathering. The extra weathering on the shroud came out fantastic - the dark areas make it stand out, the nick at the top is a cool detail, and nice darkening around the switch. I've seen a lot cool takes on the VV Acolyte, but honestly it needs nothing but some weathering to be perfect. This is how this saber was meant to be - a metallic relic, worn silver look without wraps, without colors. It's a beautiful piece of science fiction and far and away my favorite pick from VV. The new Acolyte font is INSANE awesomeness. I ordered mine on March 20 and it shipped Nov 4, nearly 33 week wait, and every day was worth it. Note - the blade plug will need to be 1.25" - I ordered a 1.5" from DSE and am having it adjusted down.
