Ardent Elite

It was a little bit delayed coming due to the new Star Wars movie but it was worth the wait.

The saber is fantastically well made and some great attention to detail. It is loud, bright and a joy to hold with the weather adding a little bit extra to the whole feel of it.

I can not fault this saber at all every thing you need is provided

Having been an owner of sabers from other companies, I can safely say that this ardent elite is the best saber I own by far. It blows the competition away with customizability by removing the SD card and the sheer brightness and sound quality/ sensitivity of the soundboard. No Saberforge or Ultrasabers can match the quality Vaders Vault has to offer in services and product. The saber is perfectly crafted and balanced with no sharp edges. The blades are beautifully made and lightweight. The soundboard is perfectly responsive to my actions and the bass speaker is crisp and loud. You don't have to hit the blade really hard anymore to get the clashes to work. Even the slightest tap on your arm will activate a clash sound. To answer the questions for many, YES it is worth the wait, you will not get a better product anywhere else and VV will help answer all your questions along the way without hesitation. Thank you Vaders Vault! I will be definitely be doing business with you guys again in the near future!

This is my first saber and I absolutely love it. The thing-neck look is great but because of where the LED is there's no loss of brightness, and boy is it bright. The reds and purples are particularly stunning. The cutouts in the top really show this off well even when using a blade plug. The detailing is great too. The insets on the lower section and the little circuit-like area next to the power switch are very crisp. The copper accent is also really well done, it looks like real copper, and I think it would look just as good in gold. I'm sure they'd do a fine job with the brighter, less metallic colors too.

Ergonomically it is great. I have above-average hands in size and I can fit one perfectly around the main grip. It's relatively slim so it's comfortable to hold. I think it works best one-handed but you can fit two on without touching the cut-outs. Everything is well smoothed and rounded, even the little boxey bits on the 'power cell' pommel. (Which is very tight.)

My only quibble is the d-ring I had put on clinking and potentially getting in the way, but that's something you get with any saber. It just stands out more since this is otherwise an obstruction-free design. Fortunately it's easily removed if you want it as an option, but you may want to consider an alternate method like a flashlight holster

This is a great saber: it looks great and handles great with good balance and really well placed switches. The color changing option is fantastic and the multiple colors and sound fonts are easily changed while using it. The light coming through the cutouts is influenced by the multiple LEDs and has really cool shimmering look to it I wasn't expecting but very happy with.

Besides looking good, sounding good and having good ergonomics, the build quality is also top notch, and feels very solid in the hand. All the components feel well machined and look fantastic. The internal components and blade fit nice and snug and after a couple days of pretty aggressive use iare still nice and tight, which is something that I have not been able to say about some other sabers I have tried.

One small thing to think about: I didn't want to have the bulge of the cover-tech wheel so I ordered it with the d-ring which rattles around as you swing it. This is something any saber would have so not a dig against it just something to consider. I will probably just take it off so no big deal.

This was my first, but won't be my last saber from Vader's Vault!
