Dark Havoc™

This is my first purchase from The vault and I am very pleased. I have several saber props from other saber smiths and the Dark Havoc ranks right up there with the best of them. The saber is very well constructed. No internal parts rattling around and nothing that will come loose when you swing the saber around. The saber is very streamlined and very comfortable to hold. Not too big and clunky like some other sabers out there. The blade is very bright and the sound is awesome. I will not hesitate to purchase another saber from the Vault in the very near future.

This was a birthday present from my wife, and whoa, is it awesome (thank you, babe)! The saber hilt, as mentioned in other reviews, is very stream-lined and made for dueling, as it is very light with no sharp edges. The design is sleek, stylish, and just gorgeous to look at. This is the first time I've purchased a saber with black coloration, and because of this saber, it won't be my last (turned to the Darkside, have I). The violet activation switch goes very nicely with the hilt.

Operating the saber is a breeze: switching sound fonts by holding down the aux button is very simple and switching LED colors is also very straight forward by holding down the aux and main buttons at the same time. The colors themselves vary in quality, with the primary colors (red, blue, green, violet) being of brighter intensity than the mixed colors, with the yellows/oranges being of just average quality.

The blade itself was great when I first received it, but the inner foil came out and when I tried to push it back in, it became wrinkled near the bottom. As a result, the blade looks very dim at the upper half. But this was my fault, not VV's.

In summary, I highly recommend this saber. I've purchased sabers from other sabersmiths and this is my favorite hilt and design. Definitely not my last purchase from VV.

Bought one for myself to compare with my other lightsaber collections. And this is hands down the best of them all.

The hilt is perfect for duelling or just practicing your lightsaber form, as it is comfortable, sleek, light-weight and simple in design.

Only downside is no recharge port is available for this saber due to its small size. But I would recommend you to buy it, as the positives far outweighs the negative.

Bought this for myself - I have a Darth Vader Force FX that I bought a few years ago, and the Dark Havoc is by far a superior piece.

It has a very sleek hilt, and the LED customization has been fun to play around with. They did an excellent job making it easy to disassemble and put back together. It's very light weight but has an excellent balance. Time to say up for a matching set!
