We know its been a long time since the last run, and we're excited to bring the Hero with its new platform back to you guys. So many changes were made its hard to know where to begin. EA had found some more source material for some accuracy changes we wanted to make, so adjustments were made here and there to make what we now believe to be the most accurate functional Hero prop on the market. While we were making the changes for accuracy, it was a good time to change the whole structure of the saber, how it goes together, and if you watch the video, how it comes apart. This allowed us to be able to offer things like an accurate solid pommel cap, and swappable upper assembly units. This also paves the way for a future crystal reveal version. The video will cover most of those details, but I will list them out here in abbreviated fashion:

New, more accurate dimensions and details
Choice between 'idealized' upper grip (even rings) and screen accurate uneven grip rings.
Choice between extended emitter flange or screen accurate.
Ability to add solid screen accurate pommel cap
Removable battery or in hilt recharge
Ability to purchase extra upper assemblies to be able to have any combo, any time.
Expertly machined here in the US

Best Luke ROTJ Saber On the Market. Period.

This is the first VV saber I have ever purchased, and certainly will not be the last. I discovered VV on a whim, but that discovery was one of the best things to ever happen to me. To say that this saber is a masterpiece in construction, art, and function is an understatement. I didn't know that I would be walking away a smiling, bumbling, ecstatic little kid again after getting this in the mail. I wish I could leave a more sophisticated review, but honestly the saber speaks for itself. If you were ever on the fence about getting it, don't be. You'll thank yourself later.
A word of wisdom, however, to any first time buyers (like myself): the wait time is quite notorious for being long, and indeed it is a legendary wait. I waited a year and nearly two months from when I placed the order for mine back in November 2019. All things considered--the pandemic and the way the world economy is going right now--that's actually not that bad. Great things take time, and this is no exception. So just make the purchase and forget about it until you are pleasantly surprised one day when you get that e-mail notification that your item has shipped.
A huge shout out and thank you to the entire team at VV for delivering incredible products despite the Covid-19 pandemic. I know many of you were not immune to this pandemic, and I can't imagine how many obstacles you've faced behind the scenes just to keep VV running. But from the very bottom of my heart, thank you so much for all that you do. Everyone loves and appreciates you and the work that you do to make our childhood dreams just a bit closer to reality.

Was more than happy to receive this new Gen 2 Hero! The Gen 1 Hero was a great saber and the improvements to the new Gen 2 made this a can't miss for Hero fans! To top it all off with a CFX neopixel combo for the cherry on the cake.

Excellent!
The hilt is exquisite!
What a difference in technology from my previous VV Second Run Vader saber. CFX is amazing! Only complaint is that the sound fonts need to catch up with CFX technology.
I ordered V2, The Last Encounter and Father and Son which are unfortunately not CFX compatible. It’s hard to get swing action sound out of non compatible fonts. The saber sounds great but requires a hard swing to get any action.
“The Light” and “Balance” fonts which are two stock CFX compatible fonts that came with my Gen 2 Hero compliments this new technology to perfection. Exquisite! I don’t know how Vader’s Vault can top this VV Gen 2 CFX Hero better besides just start making real lightsabers lol one day maybe!

Returns Policy

We do not offer returns on our products as they are handcrafted to order and made specifically for each customer. Should there be an issue with the products function and it is covered under our warranty , we will be glad to service or replace the product at our discretion. In the event that we accidentally ship you the wrong item, of course we will take care of getting you the item you ordered and take care of all shipping charges incurred in making it right.

Shipping

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

Shipping Insurance

All Vader's Vault products valued at $100 or greater will be automatically insured. This means that all 'Sabers' sold here will be insured automatically. Trust us, if you ever need it, you'll be glad you had it, and so will we. The last thing we want to do is eat something because the shipping carrier lost or damaged it, and we're pretty sure you, as the customer, don't want to be out any money.
