Our most detailed Combat Class saber to date. The Mitsurugi 3K is a beautifully crafted and superbly balanced saber inspired by real world sword hilts, with enough gripping surface for a true two handed hold, and light enough for single handed combat. The Tsuba, or handgaurd, is large enough to protect against errant strikes, but not too obtrusive to detract from the design or overly add to the weight. This hilt is pre-anodized with type 2 black anodizing for a durable, gorgeous wet black finished with contrasting areas being machined back to bare metals. The sound is vented through a unique pommel design with panoramic vent slots. Currently, this saber is a limited run, but based on response we may add it to the permanent line up.

The 4-5 month wait was well worth it. The hilt is well made and well balanced, even with heavier blades. Sound is loud and crisp and responds well with movement. Would be nice to have a recharge port in the hilt, but you can't have everything you want in a saber. Would definitely buy another saber from Vader's Vault in the near future.
That is an extremely wonderful work.
To date, this has been the best ~$800 I have ever wasted. I find myself most days just swinging it around without even having the blade in it. The sound FX alone are satisfying enough. ~woom-whirr-woom-woom~ ... ~gSHIRKKKK~ Seriously, it sounds amazing. That's not to say the hilt itself isn't amazing either. I had it done in savage weathering with grip top removal. https://imgur.com/gallery/CwRURm8 Really nice work. My uncle joked he could have scratched it up for free but the placement of all the nicks and scratches really showed they took aesthetics into account. It took almost exactly 5 months from making the order to having it arrive on Christmas eve.
My 3rd saber, the first from Vader's vault. It's the loudest, brightest, lightest and best balanced saber I've held. To be honest I can't stop touching it as it's a work of art.
I can't wait to costume with it, it will steal the show for my generic Jedi character. If you can't afford one my advice is to save till you can, the quality is worth it.
