Our most detailed Combat Class saber to date. The Mitsurugi 3K is a beautifully crafted and superbly balanced saber inspired by real world sword hilts, with enough gripping surface for a true two handed hold, and light enough for single handed combat. The Tsuba, or handgaurd, is large enough to protect against errant strikes, but not too obtrusive to detract from the design or overly add to the weight. This hilt is pre-anodized with type 2 black anodizing for a durable, gorgeous wet black finished with contrasting areas being machined back to bare metals. The sound is vented through a unique pommel design with panoramic vent slots. Currently, this saber is a limited run, but based on response we may add it to the permanent line up.

ROCK ON VADERS VAULT -
Making A Grown Man Feel Like a Kid Again.
I've had this saber for a little over two months and wanted to put it through the motions before I made my review. This saber is durable. I've dropped this saber at least 50 times on dirt from 5 - 8 feet in the air trying new tricks/tosses and the hilt has only sustained minor scratches and dings. It has also been my primary dueler as well.
When my peers use my saber, the first thing they notice is the weight. It is far lighter than many other sabers out there. After dueling with it a little bit, the next thing they notice is the balance. With a 32" blade, the saber is balanced at the emitter. From there, a person can vary the grade and length of the blade to get closer to their desired balance point. Many other sabers have a hard time getting a balance point closer to the grip.
Aesthetically, the hilt is eye catching for a few reasons:
1. Sword based designs, especially with a tsuba, are not common amongst production lightsabers.
2. Those familiar with the source material will easily be able to see where the inspiration of this hilt comes from.
3. The detailing on the hilt is noticeable from a distance, which will make people want to inspect it more closely.
I am no audiophile, but I have no complaints about the sound. The hums are distinct and clear is calmer environments. The clashes can be heard in a windy outdoor setting. The saber also features blaster deflection, which can be a fun addition to a nerf dart deflection game, and lockup sounds for when you want to scare your household pet or bring more flair to your stage performance.
Vader's Vault is also known for how bright their sabers are. The only thing I'll say about this is when I am around other people with lightsabers and turn mine on I can often hear comments such as "oh, that one is bright" or "look at that his".
Overall, I am happy with my purchase and have had outstanding customer service from the VV family. I made multiple changes/additions to my order and each interaction was polite, positive and punctual.
The next time I am in the market for a saber there is no other place I will look. -
A true work of art.
One of the best saber purchases I have made to date, without a doubt! I purchased mine in the RGB format and it is still extremely bright, in fact brighter than some of my other non RGB sabers purchased from other companies. The hilt itself is streamline and not too bulky or heavy giving it an authentic feel to it, and on top of that it is extremely comfortable for both one and two-handed grips which I thoroughly enjoy when using it for dueling. There were no sharp edges and everything is extremely sturdy both on the saber and inside of it. Overall I am extremely pleased with my purchase and thank those at VV for the time and skill that went into making this saber. I look forward to making more purchases from you all!

My favorite saber
I got this work of art not too long ago and all I can say is wow. The detail and craftsmanship that went into this saber is top notch; using this saber in duels is effortless due to its light weight construction. Even though it is lightweight it doesn't mean that it's poorly built quite the opposite actually I suggest you get this saber if you want a saber with a look of a katana
